How brabeuō is used in the New Testament

  1.  Colossians 3:15 NASB – “15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

My observations and perspective

No mention of local church leadership, but alternatively, letting the peace of Christ have this role of being umpire, deciding, determining, directing, controlling, and ruling. That appears quite in contrast with the notion of some that this should be given to church leaders.
