Of Saints & Shepherds

I don’t despise authority – if it is scripturally-mandated and authorized authority. What would that be you ask? Here’s my short list:

• God
• The Son of God
• The word of God
• Civic Government

I do however despise any other forms of ‘institutional’ authority that seek to usurp the direct access to Yahweh that Yeshua secured for us through his sacrifice on our behalf.

Direct access is not hierarchical! Those wishing to interject themselves into a relationship between God and man are adulterous – no different than a man or women interjecting themselves between a husband and wife. Such actions should be despised.
